The Bluebird of Happiness
A dedication to Mom, who unconditionally shared her beautiful mind and kind heart with all whom she loved.
When you spot a bluebird, you may look forward to a future filled with joy, hope, and good health. Bluebirds were held dear by many cultures for thousands of years as a symbol of renewal and prosperity.
As our family sorted through boxes of vintage photos to build Mom’s memory album, I found several of her renditions of bluebirds labeled “The Bluebird of Happiness” in her handwriting.
Mom was a source of joy, hope, and strength for all whom she loved. The truest friend anyone could wish for, her youthful smile melted hearts.
Rarely are we graced with a soul as empathic, nurturing, and pure as Mom’s. Her beauty was undeniable, but her childlike wonder shown through even brighter.
My number one fan, my first best friend, Mom’s memory will be cherished for all my life. She is irreplaceable. If you cross paths with a bluebird of happiness, take comfort, and know that those you love will always be with you, in your heart.
